Pitch Black

A diverse group of students and professionals from the Harvard and Greater Boston communities gathered April 1, 2017 on the campus of Harvard Business School for Pitch Black, a single-day competition focused on developing solutions to issues currently facing the Black community.

Four questions specific to issues currently facing the Black community within Chicago and spanning the areas of Education, Economic Development, Community Engagement, and Public Health were posed.

A winning idea was selected for each area, and the winning teams will now share those ideas with Chicago city officials, business leaders, and community activists on August 4, 2017  during the Pitch Black HBS Winners Weekend with the hope of leaving them in the hands of people who can transform them into action.
